LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Terrence Lee Day age 48 of Paris Karr Road, Keavy on Wednesday night December 13, 2023 at approximately 7:43 PM.
The arrest occurred on West Cumberland Gap Parkway at North Stewart Rd. approximately 9 miles South of London after Sgt. Mehler was dispatched to investigate a non-injury traffic collision there.
Upon arrival at the scene Sgt. Mehler noted that a blue Ford Fusion allegedly driven by Terrence Day had struck a business truck there.
During his crash investigation he determined that the driver of the blue Ford Fusion was operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Terrence Lee Day was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
