LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Nate Bishop along with Deputy Austyn Weddle arrested Timothy P. Combs age 45 of London on Monday night December 11, 2023 at approximately 8:33 PM.
The arrest occurred off Mitchell Creek Road, approximately 3 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a male subject out-of-control at a residence threatening to cut people.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that the subject, upon seeing deputies, had fled out the back of the residence into a woodline.
Deputies gave voice commands for the suspect to stop however he continued to flee and struggled with deputies, elbowing one deputy in the face before being taken into custody. This subject was determined to be under the influence.
Timothy Combs was charged with:
- Fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot
- Resisting arrest
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
