LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Earlier this week, Laurel Sheriffs Public Affairs Deputy Gilbert Acciardo participated at a "Career Fair Event" at North Laurel High School.
The event took place at the school in London on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023.
A short informal talk was provided by the sheriff's office and questions from the students were answered about a possible career in law enforcement.
Deputy Acciardo enjoyed his interactions with all the students.
Sheriff John Root appreciates the opportunity for his deputies to participate and interact with Laurel County children stating that "Our young people are the future leaders of our County."
