SOMERSET, KY - According to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Bobby Jones is reporting that at approximately 8:30 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, double murder suspect Austin Ray Prather age 20 of Science Hill, KY was arrested in Evansville, Indiana.
Working with investigators from Pulaski County, KY, the Evansville Police, and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office, the United States Marshall's Service in Evansville was able to locate Prather by use of cell phone technology, and take him into custody.
Investigators with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office went to Evansville where they met with police to continue their investigation.
At the time of this publishing, according to information from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, Prather is being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail in Evansville, Indiana pending extradition proceedings in Indiana and Kentucky.
