LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen along with Deputy Daniel Reed and K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Christopher West age 31 of Corbin on Thursday evening November 2, 2023 at approximately 5:59 PM.
The arrest occurred at a business off S. Stewart Rd., approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint from a male subject there that someone had threatened him with a gun and that he did not want the shooting to happen.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located the complainant in the parking lot of the business and determined that he was under the influence and that the complaint was unfounded.
Christopher West was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
