LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's shift Sgt. Allen Turner was dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a reckless driver complaint on Friday night February 28, 2025 at approximately 7:30 PM.
Sgt. Turner was able to locate the suspect vehicle in London off Fifth Street, and Spivey Lane. Sgt. Turner noted observing the suspect vehicle meeting with another vehicle.
An investigation was conducted on the three individuals identified as Enjel Sosa-Olivas age 23 of Byble Road, London, KY in the suspect vehicle and Jose Roberto Landero, age 39, of Byble Rd., London, KY and Yalibeth Dl Carmen Peralta-Gonzalez, age 29, of Byble Rd., London, KY in the other vehicle.
During the investigation, Enjel Sosa-Olivas was found in possession of suspected fentanyl. Deputies seized the suspected fentanyl and arrested the suspect.
Jose Roberto Landero and Yalibeth Dl Carmen Peralta-Gonzalez were both determined to be under the influence and also arrested.
Upon arrest, Jose Roberto Landero attempted to pull away from arresting deputies.

Deputies also determined during their investigation that all three individuals were illegal aliens. ICE agents were notified and assisted investigating deputies with interpretation. The arrested subjects were transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Enjel Sosa-Olivas was charged with:
- TICS, 1ST OFFENSE FENTANYL
- DETAINER
Jose Roberto Landero was charged with:
- ALCOHOL INTOX IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE
- RESISTING ARREST
- DETAINER
Yalibeth Dl Carmen Peralta-Gonzalez was charged with:
- ALCOHOL INTOX IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE
These three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

All three individuals are to be deported to Nicaragua for being in the U.S. illegally and are currently lodged with an ICE detainer in the Laurel County Correctional Center,
