LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: LSO Sheriff's Deputy Wes Brown arrested Zachary Tyler Morgan age 22 of Barbourville, KY early Saturday morning October 28, 2023 at approximately 3:08 AM.
The arrest occurred off Echo Valley Road, approximately 6 miles South of London while deputies were investigating a noise complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Brown noted that he heard two gunshots and that people were running everywhere.
A male subject was determined to have fired the weapon in the presence of at least 26 other individuals.
The suspect stated he fired the weapon in fear of his life.
Zachary Tyler Morgan is charged with:
- 26 counts of Wanton Endangerment – First-Degree
According to the Laurel County Correctional Center's JailTracker page, this individual is lodged there, being held on a $25,000.00 CASH bond with a court date set for Monday, October 30 2023 at 11:00 AM.
