RAVENNA, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, just before 11:30 A.M., KSP Post 7, Richmond received a call from the Estill County Sheriff's Office requesting investigative assistance in regards to a deceased male who had been located at a residence on Main Street in Ravenna.
KSP Troopers, Detectives, and the Estill County Coroner’s Office responded to the area to investigate.
The initial investigation revealed a family member located Randell Anglin, 44 years old, from Ravenna, KY, unresponsive inside the residence.
The Estill County Emergency Services responded to the residence, and life-saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful.
Mr. Anglin was pronounced deceased by the Estill County Coroner's Office. The cause of death is under investigation; however, foul play is not suspected.
An autopsy will be performed at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detective David Hobbs. He was assisted on scene by KSP personnel, Estill County Sheriff's Department, Estill County EMS and the Estill County Coroner’s Office.
