Monticello, KY– The Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement responded Thursday to a motor vehicle crash located on KY 834 in Wayne County, Kentucky.
Upon arrival and though investigation officers found a 2011 international tractor-trailer was being operated by 63 year old Raymond Charles Thomas of Arcadia, Florida.
Thomas was traveling eastbound on KY 834 when lost control of his vehicle leaving the roadway striking trees head on.
Thomas was pronounced dead on scene by Wayne Co. Coroner Gordon Hicks. Drugs and alcohol are not known to be a factor at this time, and Thomas was not wearing his seat belt at time of collision.
