HAZARD KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at approximately 2:01 P.M, KSP Post 13, Hazard, received a call from Perry County 911, requesting assistance in reference to a body being located on Turner Ridge Road, in the Hazard community of Perry County.
Troopers, along with Detectives responded to the scene and located Ryan Turner, 38, of Hazard deceased from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Turner was pronounced deceased on scene by the Perry County Coroners Office.
Detectives with Post 13 immediately launched an investigation into the death of Turner.
Through the course of the investigation several arrests have been made. Jordan T. Campbell, 28, of Viper, was charged with Murder, Burglary 1st and Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree. Rebekah M. Campbell, 45, of Hazard, was charged with one count of Murder (Complicity). Both subjects were lodged into Kentucky River Regional Jail.
Kentucky State Police, Post 13, is asking for the public’s assistance in locating one additional suspect wanted as part of the ongoing investigation. Willie Lewis, 37, of Hazard, is described as a white male standing 5’11 inches tall, weighing 175lbs. He has dark colored hair with blue eyes. He could be occupying a late 90’s model Ford Ranger, step-side, silver in color or a Green in color ATV.

Hazard, KY (August 31, 2023) – Willie Lewis has been located and taken into custody at this time.
