Failed ATM Theft at Truist Bank in Carroll County, Maryland

FINKSBURG, MD - The Maryland State Police (MSP) is reporting that: In the early morning hours of Sunday, July 23, 2023, an unknown suspect(s) attempted to steal the ATM from a bank in the  Finksburg Plaza Shopping Center.

At approximately 3:56 AM, Sunday morning the Maryland State Police Westminster Barrack received a call for an alarm at the Truist Bank located at 3000 Gamber Road, Finksburg, Maryland 21048.

Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect(s) used a stolen truck, stolen trailer, and skid steer loader, which is also suspected to be stolen, to attempt to steal the ATM.

The suspect(s) fled the area prior to the arrival of MSP troopers, leaving the truck, trailer, and skid steer behind.
