LEXINGTON, KY - The Lexington Police Department is reporting the investigation of a homicide and shooting that occurred earlier Wednesday.
On July 5, 2023, at around 2:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Tazewell Drive outside of Pine Meadows Park for a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a male juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
A second male juvenile victim arrived at a local hospital shortly after suffering from a gunshot wound.
While officers were searching the area, they located an individual who was later pronounced deceased by the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
The Fayette County Coroner's Office will release the name of the decedent.
