LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Stephen Walker along with Deputy Josh Velasco arrested Amber Brummett age 27 of Hopkins Cemetery Rd., Lily, KY on Sunday afternoon June 11, 2023 at approximately 4:19 PM.
The arrest occurred on KY 490 approximately 4 miles north of London after this subject was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine along with prescription Gabapentin, and Suboxone, which were not in a proper container.
Amber Brummett was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
