JACKSON COUNTY, OR (May 17, 2023) - The Oregon State Police (OSP) is reporting that on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at approximately 10:46 A.M., OSP responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 238, near milepost 26, in Jackson County.
The preliminary investigation indicated a silver 2005 Chrysler Seabring, operated by Dena Bell Duval Arns (91) of Ruch, was traveling eastbound on Highway 238. The vehicle traveled across the westbound lane for unknown reasons, left the roadway and overturned in a field. The operator was determined to be deceased at the scene.
The highway was not impacted during the course of the investigation.
OSP was assisted by Applegate Fire and ODOT.
