FRANKFORT, KY (May 17, 2023) - The Kentucky State Police Post 12, Frankfort is reporting that at around 3:00 P.M today KSP received a call about a possible subject with a firearm in the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Mayo Underwood Building on Mero St. in Frankfort.
KSP, Frankfort Police Department, U.S. Marshal Service and Frankfort Sheriff’s Office are clearing the buildings.
There are no shots fired or injuries.
An investigation will continue by KSP but there is no current threat to the public.
