LONDON, KY (March 31, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root and London City Police Chief Chuck Johnson announce that: Since mid-February the Laurel County Drug Interdiction Task Force has conducted an investigation into the drug trafficking activities of Arnie Lewis on KY Highway 552 in Keavy.
Following the investigation, a search warrant was conducted at the Lewis residence on Friday, March 31, 2023.
Officers located approximately 7 ozs. of Methamphetamine and approximately $9400 in U.S. currency.
Arnie Lewis age 65 of Keavy, KY was arrested and transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
SEIZED
Arnie Lewis is charged with:
- TRAFF IN CONT SUB, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFF - (> OR = 2 GMS METHAMPHETAMINE)
- TRAF IN MARIJUANA ( LESS THAN 8 OZ.) 1ST OFF
- POSS CONT SUB, 3RD DEGREE - DRUG UNSPECIFIED
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
