CELINA, TN - The Clay County Sheriff's Office in Celina is reporting that on Friday, March 17, 2023, Clay County Sheriff Deputies along with K-9 "Ripp" and the Celina Police Department executed a search warrant on a local residence.
The sheriff’s deputies also conducted Drug Interdiction traffic stops.
These efforts resulted in the seizure of:
- Multiple drug paraphernalia items
- Methamphetamine
- Illegal weapons
- Prescription narcotics
Deputies seized a total approximate amount of 41 grams of Methamphetamine during these investigations.
Clay County Deputies along with the Celina Police Department executed a search warrant at a local residence. The above items were located and seized during the search warrant.
The suspect was arrested for:
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Prohibited Weapons
- Simple Possession of Schedule VI
- Manufacture, Selling, and Delivery of Methamphetamine
Clay County Deputies conducted a traffic stop and with the assistance of K-9 "Ripp" recovered the above items.
The suspect was arrested for:
- Manufacturing, Selling and Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Simple Possession of Methamphetamine
Clay County Deputies with the assistance of K-9 "Ripp" conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. During the course of the investigation, the suspect became combative and refused to comply with deputies.
The suspect attempted to destroy Methamphetamine and the deputies were able to place him in custody and recover a small amount of crystal substance.
The suspect was charged with:
- Resisting Arrest
- Prohibited Weapons
- Tampering with Evidence
- Possession of Methamphetamine
