LEXINGTON, KY - The Lexington Police Department is reporting that: Today we remember Officer Danny Redmon, who died in the line of duty on January 3, 1967.
Officer Redmon was killed in a collision while pursuing a speeding vehicle on Winchester Road.
Officer Redmon was a 3-year veteran of the Lexington Police Department and left behind a wife and two children. At the time of his death, Officer Redmon was 24 years old.
We want to honor his life and thank him for his dedication and sacrifice to this community. He may be gone, but we will never forget him.
