Broken Board! Danger to tread in Clay County, Kentucky!
MANCHESTER, KY (June 1, 2022) - News Release By: Stella B. House, Attorney-at-Law, PSC: The filing deadline to seek election to the available positions in District Numbers 1 and 3 of the Clay County School Board is June 7th at 4:00 P.M., EST.
Candidates desiring to seek election to one of the available positions on the Clay County School Board MUST file the appropriate paperwork in the Clay County Clerk’s offices in downtown Manchester no later than 4:00 P.M., EST, on June 7th. Candidates may file to seek election to a position in the following School Board Districts in the upcoming General Election in November of this year:
School Board District No. 1, which consists of the these precincts:
- Manchester
- Horse Creek
- Pigeon Roast
- Portersburg
- Whites Branch
School Board District No. 3, which consists of these precincts:
- Fogertown
- Burning Springs
- Sextons Creek
The incumbent Board member and Dustin Swafford have filed to seek election to the position in School Board District No. 1.
The incumbent Board member has filed to seek election to the position in School Board District No. 3.
