MANCHESTER, KY (May 25, 2022) - Stella B. House, Attorney at Law, PSC that's legally representing "The friends of the historic Hoskins Cemetery" is reporting that: After another Plaintiff in the state court action pending in the Clay Circuit Court contacted the the Clay County Board of Education (the “Board”) about visiting the graves of her grandfather and two uncles in the Hoskins Cemetery, the Board has finally agreed to allow family members and friends to visit the graves of their loved ones buried in the Hoskins Cemetery this Memorial Day weekend but attached is what many take as an "Insulting Request".
Stella B. House was notified of the granted visitation access by the following note:
The Clay County Board of Education (the “Board”) is limiting visitation hours for family members from Friday, May 27, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. until Monday, May 30, 2022 at 8:00 P.M, but CCBOA (the “Board”) has made the insulting request that no flowers or other objects be placed on the graves there.
Attorney House: "I encourage each and every one with ancestors buried there to take advantage of this opportunity and to take lots of photographs and post them on the Friends of the Hoskins Cemetery Facebook page."
"The Friends of the Hoskins Cemetery are thinking about hosting a brief Memorial Service at the Hoskins Cemetery at 6:00 P.M. on Memorial Day in honor of the veterans and others buried there.
If you are interested in attending a Memorial Service at the Hoskins Cemetery on Monday please comment on the post about it on the "Friends of the Hoskins Cemetery" Facebook page."
