MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on Monday, October 11, 2021 at approximately 1:00 P.M. Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones along with Sheriff Det. Jeff Kelsey arrested Brandon Smith, 30 of Grannys Branch Road and Justin Henson, 28 of Rocky Branch Road.
The arrests occurred on Highway 1524 when Chief Deputy Jones was dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle.
Contact was made with the above mentioned subjects and through confirmation with Clay County Dispatch it showed both subjects had active warrants for their arrest.
Justin Henson was charged with:
• Serving Clay County Warrant
Brandon Smith was charged with:
• Serving Clay County Warrant
These two individuals were lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
