LONDON, KY (August 17, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Brian France along with K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Rockland S. Jackson age 36 of East Bernstadt on Monday evening August 16, 2021 at approximately 7:06 PM.
The arrest occurred off East Pittsburgh Church Road, approximately 3 miles northeast of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that allegedly this individual had assaulted a female subject there and threatened individuals there and left the scene in a vehicle.
While deputies were conducting their investigation the suspect arrived back at the scene in a vehicle and deputies took the suspect into custody.
Rockland S. Jackson was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
- Terroristic threatening – third-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
