PORTLAND, OR (August 7, 2021) - The Portland Police Bureau is reporting that on Saturday, August 7th, 2021, at about 4:40 A.M., Portland Police officers from the East Precinct responded to a medical call in the 12800 block of Southeast Holgate Boulevard.
A security guard found a man down. Medical personnel arrived and determined he was deceased.
When responding officers arrived, they found evidence of a shooting.
Portland Police Homicide detectives responded to investigate. According to detectives, the preliminary investigation indicates this was a homicide.
An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death.
This is an ongoing investigation and any additional information will be released at the direction of investigators.
