LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: On Wednesday night May 19, 2021 at approximately 11:50 PM Laurel Sheriff's Detective James Sizemore along with Detective Taylor McDaniel, Deputy Landry Collett, Deputy Hobie Daugherty and shift Sgt. John Inman arrested two individuals at a business off East Laurel Road near London.
Arrested was: L. to R. - Calvin Dewayne Bowling age 42 of Farris Road, London, KY and Ronald Henson age 48 of Garland Road, London, KY.
The arrests occurred after it was determined that Bowling was wanted on an outstanding warrant & was also found in possession of:
- Over 9 grams of a crystal substance believed to be Methamphetamine
- Needles
- Digital scales
- Ziploc bags
- A glass pipe
Henson was found in possession of:
- A small baggie of a crystal substance suspected to be Methamphetamine
- A needle
Calvin Dewayne Bowling was charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on numerous violations
Ronald Henson was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
