LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Brent France along with Deputy Josh Morgan arrested Stephanie Ann Sasser age 35 of Lily on Saturday morning May 9, 2020 at approximately 7:00 AM.
The arrest occurred off Clark Road, approximately 6 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
While enroute to the scene deputies were advised that a female subject’s leg had allegedly been broken and a male subject had attempted to choke her to death.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies conducted an investigation and determined that the alleged incident had not occurred and that the complainant was under the influence.
Stephanie Ann Sasser was charged with:
- Falsely reporting an incident
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
