LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor arrested Santanna C. Begley age 24 of Laurel River Rd., London early Sunday morning April 12, 2020 at approximately 12:22 AM.
The arrest occurred off old US 25 in a church parking lot after Deputy Taylor observed a suspicious vehicle parked there. An investigation was conducted on the white Chevy SUV's occupant who was found in possession of hypodermic syringes containing a clear liquid substance believed to be Methamphetamine.
In addition, the occupant was also found in possession of a plastic bag containing a crystal like substance believed to be Methamphetamine. The occupant was also determined to be under the influence.
Santanna Begley was charged with:
- public intoxication – controlled substances
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Criminal trespassing – third-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
