Driver that left crash scene in Laurel County charged on multiple offenses

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Brent France along with Deputy Robert Reed and Deputy Josh Morgan arrested Kenneth Parker age 52 of London on Sunday morning March 22, 2020 at approximately 10:34 A.M.

The arrest occurred off Johnson Road, approximately 6 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle motor vehicle crash there.

Upon arrival at the scene deputies located a red Dodge Ram pickup and learned that the driver had been picked up and left the scene.

As the investigation continued deputies located the driver nearby and conducted an investigation determining that the driver was under the influence.

Kenneth Parker was charged with:

  • Driving on DUI suspended license – first offense
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Failure to produce insurance card
  • Failure to wear seatbelts
  • No registration receipt

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
