LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy James Fox arrested Ricky Lewis Green age 39 of London early Sunday morning March 1, 2020 at approximately 12:51 AM.
The arrest occurred off Lily Road, approximately 6 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence complaint with assault there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies conducted an investigation and learned that allegedly this subject had slapped a female subject in the face following an argument.
Deputies noted that the male suspect was highly intoxicated and upon arrest became very belligerent, yelling and creating a disturbance and had to be escorted to the police cruiser.
Upon arrival at the correctional facility this individual attempted to fight with correctional officers.
Ricky Lewis Green was charged with:
- Assault 4th degree
- Disorderly conduct-2nd degree
- Menacing
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
