Deputies in Clay County arrest a Gum Branch man during Complaint Investigation

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on February 9, 2020 at approximately 12:00 PM Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones along with Clay County Deputy Coty Arnold arrested Shannon McQueen, 37 of Gum Branch Road.

The arrest occurred when Chief Deputy Jones responded to a complaint of an intoxicated a male causing a disturbance at a residence. Upon arrival, Chief Deputy Jones had noted the subject left prior to his arrival.

Chief Deputy Jones then made contact with the subject at Marathon on North Highway 421.

Through investigation it was determined the subject was under the influence. 

Shannon McQueen was charged with:

• Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree
