MANCHESTER, KY (September 14, 2019) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on September 13, 2019 at approximately 8:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley and Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested Howard Martin, 50 of Indiana.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Brumley received a complaint on the above mentioned subject on Marcum Street.
Upon arrival Deputy Brumley made contact with the subject who was operating a motor vehicle without proper registration.
Through consent to search, Deputies located a firearm and ammunition inside the vehicle.
Clay County Dispatch confirmed the individual was a convicted felon.
Howard Martin was charged with:
• Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
