Trafficking Arrest / Manchester

MANCHESTER, KY (September 5, 2019) - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: On September 5, 2019 at approximately 11:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson and Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones arrested Jeremy Caldwell, 31 of Rain Tree Apartments.

The arrest occurred when Sheriff Robinson and Chief Deputy Jones received a complaint that a male subject was passed out in a running vehicle at Beech Creek Apartments.

Upon arrival Sheriff Robinson and Chief Jones made contact with the subject, through investigation it was determined the subject was under the influence.

While running the subjects information through Clay County Dispatch it was shown that the subject was operating on DUI Suspended License.

Sheriff Robinson and Chief Jones located numerous baggies of packaged marijuana and a white crystalline substance. 

Jeremy Caldwell was charged with:

  • Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of ALC/DRUGS/ETC.
  • Driving on DUI Suspended License
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified)
