Cumberland Ky. (September 3, 2019) - On September 2, 2019 at 9:18 A.M. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a shots fired complaint in the Cumberland Community of Harlan County.
Troopers from Post 10 responded and upon their arrival it was determined a fight had occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
Daniel Bauer (49) of Ohio had been shot in the face. Mr. Bauer was flown to Holsten Valley Medical Center with none life threatening injuries.
Stephanie Brock (46) was charged with:
Assault 1st degree
Kevin Brock (24) was charged with:
Tampering with Physical Evidence
Both were lodged in Harlan County Detention Center.
The Case is still under investigation by Tpr. Andy Soltess.
Also assisting at the scene were Trooper Jake Middleton, Detective Rodney Sturgill, Detective Jake Wilson, Cumberland PD Sgt. Tyler Hensley, Ofc. Marion Stewart, Harlan County Sheriff Deputies Cody Bargo, Austin Reynolds, and Lifeguard Ambulance service.
