MANCHESTER, KY (September 1, 2019) - The City Of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: At approximately 1:40 PM on 08/31/2019 Manchester & Lockard’s Creek Fire Units were dispatched by Clay County 911 to a possible structure fire on Beech Creek Road around Samples Branch.
Upon arrival, the first responding Units and Engine 7 observed heavy fire emitting from all sides of the structure.
Personnel from Engine 7 began a knock down of the Fire, units were unable to make a complete extinguishment or complete entry into the structure because of the integrity of the structure.
Units provided exposure protection to surrounding buildings and woodland before clearing the scene with no further incident.
