GIRDLER, KY - (August 26, 2019) - The Knox County, Ky. Sheriff's Department is reporting that: On Monday, August 26, 2019 at approximately 1:30 A.M. Knox County Deputy Bobby Jones conducted a traffic stop on Highway 11 in Girdler.
Deputy Jones located several Gabapentin tablets and a “bong” used to smoke Marijuana inside the vehicle. Tyler Bright, a passenger in the vehicle, admitted ownership of the tablets and “bong”.
The investigation continued on to Bright's residence on Highway 1304 in Girdler.
Inside the residence Deputy Jones located:
- Over one half pound of Methamphetamine
- A large quantity of Xanax tablets
- Baggies
- Three digital scales
- Over $900 in cash
Tyler Lee Bright age 23 of Bimble, KY was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance-2nd Degree
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance-3rd Degree
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Tyler Bright was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
