Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Bryon Lawson along with Sheriff John Root, Maj. Chuck Johnson, Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Detective James Sizemore, Bailiff Roy Ball, and Bailiff Jacklyn Johnson arrested Clover Salyer age 33 of Sowders Lane, London on Thursday afternoon August 22, 2019 at approximately 4:11 PM.
The arrest occurred off Miller Road, approximately 8 miles west of London while deputies were conducting an investigation there and found a subject in possession of reported stolen property and drug paraphernalia. Also this individual was wanted on two outstanding bench warrants.
Clover Salyer was charged with:
- Receiving stolen property under $500
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
In addition, this subject was charged on a Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia
- Contempt of court
Also, this individual was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on charges of operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
- Contempt of court
- Failure to wear seatbelts
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
