Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on August 3, 2019 at 6:30 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley arrested Alan Bowling, 54 of Fishtrap Road.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Brumley received a complaint of a male possibly intoxicated and passed out behind the wheel of a automobile at Dairy Queen on South Highway 421.
Upon arrival Deputy Brumley made contact with the male subject inside Dairy Queen, through investigation it was determined the subject was under the influence of intoxicants.
Deputy Brumley located a metal vial containing a controlled substance.
Alan Bowling was charged with:
- Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
- Prescription Controlled Substance not in Orginal Container 1st
- Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st
