Manchester, Ky. - The City Of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: At approximately 1:40 PM on Tuesday July 23, 2019 Manchester & Lockard’s Creek Fire Units were dispatched by Clay County 911 to the Clay County Shopping Center for a vehicle Vs. building accident.
Upon arrival units discovered a vehicle had struck the Family Dollar causing minor damage to the vehicle and store front.
Both occupants in the vehicle self extricated and were transported to AdventHealth of Manchester by Clay County EMS.
Units assisted on scene until Allen’s Towing & Recovery was able to recover the vehicle.
There was no building stabilization issues caused by this accident.
Units cleared the scene with no further incident.
