Deputy dispatched to complaint of subject attempting to steal items / Clay County

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on June 28, 2019 at approximately 12:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Bruin Asher, 42 of South Highway 421.

The arrest occurred when Deputy Houston was dispatched to a complaint on Highway 80 where the above mentioned subject attempting to steal items from a vehicle.

Upon arrival contact was made with the subject on the porch of the residence showing signs of severe intoxication.

Through investigation it was determined that the subject had entered onto the property unlawfully, once being placed under arrest the subject became extremely disorderly and resisted arrest.

Bruin Asher, 42 was charged with:

  • Criminal Trespassing 2nd Degree
  • Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree
  • Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance ( Excludes Alcohol)
  • Resisting Arrest
