DOVER, KY (February 3, 2025) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 8 in Morehead has been requested by the Mason County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) to conduct an investigation into a body that was located in the Ohio river.
KSP was contacted on February 3, 2025 at approximately 9:30 am EST in regards to a body that was located in the Ohio river. The Mason County Coroner identified the deceased as David Blevins Jr, 47, of Staffordsville, KY. Mr. Blevins was entered missing by Johnson County Sheriff's Office in December 2024.
KSP was assisted on scene by the MCSO and Mason County Coroner.
The investigation remains ongoing by KSP Sgt. Eugene Robinson.
