Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s deputy Josh Morgan along with Deputy Shannon Jones arrested Shawn Lee Holt age 31 of East Bernstadt early Sunday morning June 23, 2019 at approximately 5:48 AM.
The arrest occurred off Hensley Road, approximately 6 miles north of London after this subject was charged on a Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500
- Assault third-degree – police officer is victim
- Criminal trespassing – third-degree
- Contempt of court
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Corrections Center.
