Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On March 23, 2019 at approximately 2:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Gabbard along with Sheriff Deputy Cody Blackwell arrested Christopher Smith age 33 of Stonewall Road.
The arrest occurred when deputies went to serve a no bond warrant at the subjects residence, when deputies told the subject he was under arrest the subject got in a fighting stance and began cursing at deputies.
When the deputies went to place him under arrest, he resisted arrest.
Deputies deployed a Taser and the arrest was made without further incident.
