City Of Manchester & Lockard’s Creek *Call Summary* for Wed. Feb. 20, 2019


Clay County, Ky. (February 22, 2019) - The City Of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: Throughout the day on Wednesday February 20, 2019 Emergency Personnel worked very hard to keep all the residents in the City of Manchester and Clay County safe during the flooding.

**Call Summary**:

  • Structure Fire - PawPaw Road
  • Motor Vehicle Accident - KY-80
  • Traffic Hazard - Old US 421
  • EMS Assist - KY 149
  • Motorist Assist - US 421 South
  • Fire Alarm - Pennington Hill Road
  • EMS Assist - Curry Branch Road
  • Swift Water Rescue - Chop Bottom Road
  • As the rain continues to flood into Clay County in the upcoming days everyone be sure to use caution while driving as some roads may only appear to have very little standing water but the road beneath could be completely gone.

    It only takes a couple feet to completely take over a vehicle.

    Crews are always ready to respond if needed and never hesitate to call.
