2 arrested in Clay County Tuesday morning by Deputy providing Extra Patrol

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on February 19, 2019 at approximately 1:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested Sally Asher age 41 of Paces Creek Road and Michelle Napier age 45 of Saplin Fork Road.

The arrests occurred on the Hal Rogers Parkway when Deputy Edwards was providing extra patrol and came across two females walking along the parkway.

Upon contact with the females it was determined they were manifestly under the influence.

Upon running the information on one of the female subjects it was confirmed she had an active warrant for her arrest out of Clay District Court, once being placed under arrest she stated she had a syringe on her person.

Sally Asher was charged with:

  • Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
  • Michelle Napier was charged with:

  • Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
  • Serving Bench Warrant for Court
  • Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
