Complaint of Shoplifter fleeing Walmart in a truck / Manchester

Manchester, KY - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: On February 14, 2019 Detective Gary Jordan received a complaint of a shoplifter fleeing Walmart in a White extended cab truck. While approaching the scene Detective Jordan noticed a truck matching that of the complaint merging onto Highway 80 at a high rate of speed.

Upon Detective Jordan initiating his lights and sirens, the truck recklessly entered onto the Hal Rogers Parkway accelerating in speed. Detective Jordan was able to run the Ohio registration plate and Clay County 911 determined the truck was reported stolen.

The truck pulled over approximately 1/4 mile West on the parkway, giving Detective Jordan a chance to investigate the events.

Upon further investigation Detective Jordan discovered Mike Webb, Jonathan Allen, and Jessica Hensley all occupying the truck.

The occupants were charged with the following:

  • Mike Webb age 39 of Connorsville, Indiana: -Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000,- Operating on a suspend or revoked license, - Careless Driving, - Reckless Driving, - Failure to/or Improper signal, - Disregarding stop sign, - Failure to wear seat belt, - TBUT or DISP, Shoplifting U/$500, - Failure to produce insurance card, - Failure of non-owner operator to maintain req insurance, - No other state registration receipt,- Failure to give right or way to emergency vehicle.
  • Jonathan Allen age 26 of Oneida; -Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000
  • Jessica Hensley age 34 of Connorsville, Indiana: -Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000.
  • Assisting at the scene was Manchester Police Chief Chris Fultz, Clay County Sheriff's Office Deputy Cody Blackwell, and Kentucky State Trooper Logan Gay.
