Clay County, Ky. - On Thursday February 7, 2019 at 1:41 AM the City Of Manchester Fire Department reported that: At approximately 9:21 PM Lockard’s Creek & Manchester Fire Units were Dispatched to Mutual Aid on a Structure Fire with possible entrapment on Rocky Fork Road on KY-2000 to assist Red Bird Fire Department which received the initial call.
Upon arrival units discovered the residence to be fully involved in fire.
Fire units from several agencies made efforts to extinguish the fire which was successful enough to conduct a primary search of the residence. Units believed that there wasn’t any occupants home at the time of the fire.
Crews knocked down several hot spots and cleared the scene with no further incident.
Assisting at the scene: Bright Shade Fire Department, Red Bird Fire Department, Jackson Energy, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, & the Kentucky State Police.
