Coroner's office releases name of North Highway 421 crash victim / Clay County

Manchester, Ky.  ( February 6, 2019 ) - The Clay County Coroner's Office is reporting that:  On Tuesday February 5, 2019 the Coroner's office responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident on N. Highway 421.



Ronald Metcalf age 71 of Sextons Creek was pronounced deceased at the scene by Clay County Deputy Coroner Dustin Swafford.

He was the passenger in a Jeep Wrangler being driven by his brother Justice.

According to the Coroner's office, Rondal Metcalf was not wearing a seatbelt.

Assisting at the scene was: 

Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson, Manchester City Police Cheif Chris Fultz, Manchester City Assistant Police Cheif Jeff Collett, Manchester City Police Lieutenant Jason Combs, Burning Springs Fire Department, Lockards Creek Fire Department, Manchester Fire Department, Brightshade Fire Department, Clay County Deputy Coroner Dustin Swafford and Clay County EMS.
