Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Brad mink arrested Ronnie W. Vest age 55 of London on Thursday afternoon January 31, 2019 at approximately 2:01 PM.
The arrest occurred on Fariston Road approximately 2 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a physical domestic violence complaint.
While enroute deputies learned that allegedly this subject had been observed striking a female subject, shoving her, and placing his hands around the neck of the female subject.
The female subject was apparently outside screaming for help and apparently tried to get away from the male subject by walking down the road however the male subject had gotten into a black Dodge pickup caught up with the female subject and made her get inside the truck.
When Deputy Mink arrived in the area, he located the suspect vehicle conducting a traffic stop on it and making contact with the male driver and female passenger. Deputy Mink learned from the female subject that the male subject had allegedly physically assaulted her. Deputy Mink noted visible red marks on the victims hands, arms and neck.
Ronnie W. Vest was charged with assault – 4th degree – domestic violence; wanton endangerment – second-degree.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
