Complaint through Clay County 911 results in Drug Arrests

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston along with Kentucky State Police Trooper Logan Gay received a complaint on January 26, 2019 at approximately 5:30 PM through Clay County 911 of a red pickup driving reckless towards Manchester on Highway 80.

Deputy Tommy Houston and Trooper Logan Gay made contact with the above mentioned truck at Sibert’s Grocery, upon contact with the vehicle, the passenger of the truck had two needles in plain view of the officers and it was determined that he was manifestly under the influence.

The driver gave consent to search the vehicle in which the officers located a controlled substance in the vehicle.

Arrested was : 

Denny Cunagin (Driver) age 41 of London was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Christian Roberts (Passenger) age 27 of Manchester was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol) and Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess.
