Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective James Sizemore arrested an individual off KY 490 on Thursday afternoon January 17, 2019 at approximately 2:32 PM.
Arrested was Johnny D. Burkhart age 38 of East Bernstadt.
The arrest occurred off KY 490, approximately 5 miles north of London after this subject was found in possession of an EBT card not his own.
In addition, this subject was determined to be under the influence. Johnny Burkart was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; knowingly fraudulently using ID code or electronic code for benefits.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
