STANFORD, Ky. –The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is investigating an alleged assault that occurred at the Lincoln County High School on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
The initial investigation alleges that two teacher’s assistants taunted, shoved and restrained a special education student while other students and a teacher watched and did nothing.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, 50 year old Rebecca Spurlock of Crab Orchard, 52 year old Teresa Sparkman of Waynesburg, and 51 year old Janie Hasty of Stanford have been charged and summoned to appear in Lincoln County District Court.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Trooper Justin Kearney.
